Faculty

Our teaching faculty forms the backbone of our vision to nurture global citizens of tomorrow. Holding strong academic credentials and vast teaching experience, the faculty functions as ‘facilitators’ in the process of learning and maintain an open communication system with the students. Teachers are well-equipped to integrate the use of technology in the classroom environment, and use it effectively to plan lessons and prepare assessment reports.

Access to a large pool of teaching resources ensures that teachers are abreast with the latest trends in education and are able to implement them. The exemplary achievements secured by our students over the years in both, academic and non-academic spheres owe its merit to the motivation, dedication and guidance of our well-qualified and trained faculty.

Global Indian International School (GIIS) places high emphasis on continuous professional development and skills training of its academic and non-academic staff. In-house and external training programmes are conducted on a regular basis, along with periodic reviews to access individual as well as organisational goals. This ensures that the system evolves to accommodate fresh perspectives and adapts to change.

Parents can remain inconstant touch with teachers through the school’s intranet portal, myGIIS. Parents can view their child’s progress and get in touch with teachers, while teachers can send worksheets, check students’ progress for projects and send notes/reminders to parents.

Co-Curricular Activity and Sports Staff

The co-curricular and activity sports staff complement the academic staff as equal partners to teach music, art, craft reading, and sports activities, which are woven into the regular academic schedule. Additional time is also allocated for co-curricular and sports activities after regular school hours to give children a rich exposure and enhance their personality.
