Celebrating 'Make a Difference Day' is a super start to building community awareness and an attitude of service. GIIS East Coast Campus kindergarteners engaged in several acts of kindness by making creative photo frames and cards for their peers and school helpers.

"Love is not patronizing and charity isn't about pity, it is about love. Charity and love are the same -- with charity you give love, so don't just give money but reach out your hand instead." ― Mother Teresa

Celebrating 'Make a Difference Day' is a super start to building community awareness and an attitude of service. Giving a helping hand to others in our community makes the world a better place and benefits each of us in different ways. Some get the peace of mind and the satisfaction in the outcome of helping one another and some do it for their own self-fulfilment.

On 27 January, our GIIS East Coast Campus kindergarteners engaged in several acts of kindness by making creative photo frames and cards for their peers and school helpers. The students also helped to quench the thirst of their Grade 1 peers by preparing lime juice for them. They spread joy and cheer all around the school by these simple acts of kindness.

The students also helped to clear up litter around the campus vicinity campaigning on 'Going Green' to show that they care about their environment.
